Privacy policy

Momentra reads information that organizations make public on their websites, calendars, and listings. This may include event titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, source links, organization names, and published business contact details. We attribute each event to its published source.

When you contact us, sign in, or create an account, we receive the information you choose to give us, such as your name and email address.

When you use Momentra through a connected assistant, we receive only the specific tool input needed for the requested task, account and authorization identifiers, and basic operational data needed to return and secure the result. We do not request or reconstruct your full conversation history.

If you make a purchase, payment is handled by Stripe. Momentra does not receive or store your full payment card details.

We use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how the website is used, measure conversions, improve Momentra, and understand the effectiveness of our marketing.

If you continue to use this website, these technologies may collect information about your visit as described below. If you do not want this tracking to occur, you can leave the website or use browser settings or other available controls to block cookies and tracking technologies.

Analytics and advertising providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages visited, interactions with the website, and timestamps.

We do not intentionally send Momentra search text, connected-assistant tool inputs, event-search queries, or account content to analytics providers.

A button click is not counted by Momentra as a completed request. We record a request as completed only after it has actually been accepted by the service.

This website uses the following third-party services:

• PostHog — product analytics used to understand how visitors interact with the website and product.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — website traffic and usage measurement.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — advertising measurement, attribution, and conversion matching. LinkedIn may receive technical information about your visit. Where enhanced conversion matching is enabled, information such as an email address submitted through an eligible form may be transformed into a hashed value before being sent to LinkedIn for matching.
• Stripe — payment processing, loaded when needed for checkout and payment-related services.

Momentra also uses hosting, infrastructure, authentication, and other service providers necessary to operate and secure the service.

We use public event and organization data to build and maintain event indexes, calendars, feeds, search results, and related services for our customers and users, and to show where event information is available or unavailable.

We use account and contact information to create and operate accounts, authenticate users, provide support, communicate with you, and administer the service.

Connected-assistant tool inputs are used to perform the action requested, return relevant results, enforce account permissions, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability and security of Momentra.

We use analytics information to understand product and website usage, improve Momentra, and measure marketing performance.

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only when needed to operate Momentra or provide a service you request.

Recipients may include:

• hosting and infrastructure providers;
• authentication and account-service providers;
• connected assistant platforms when you choose to use Momentra through their service;
• Stripe for payment processing;
• PostHog for product analytics;
• Google Analytics for website analytics; and
• LinkedIn for advertising measurement and attribution.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Momentra, our users, or others.

Momentra does not retain account information after an account is closed.

Momentra does not retain connected-assistant tool requests or operational logs.

Support requests and communications sent to peter@momentra.org remain in that email account unless they are deleted.

Payment and accounting records are retained by Stripe according to Stripe's retention practices and as required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

Public event records may remain in Momentra while they are relevant to the published source or are needed to maintain provenance, correction history, and source history. Historical source records are not kept after they are no longer current or needed for those purposes.

Analytics information is retained according to Momentra's configured retention settings with the applicable analytics provider.

You may ask us to delete personal information associated with you. We will delete it unless continued retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or an unresolved dispute.

You may use browser settings, content blockers, or other available controls to limit cookies and tracking technologies.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information Momentra holds about you by contacting peter@momentra.org.

You may also disconnect Momentra from a connected assistant through the controls provided by that assistant platform.

When you connect Momentra to an AI assistant or other third-party platform, information you choose to send through that platform is also subject to that platform's privacy practices.

Momentra receives only the information made available to it through the specific Momentra tool request and the account or authorization information necessary to process that request.

Momentra does not request access to your complete assistant conversation history.
